Location: in the south-central region of Cambodia, at the convergence of the Tonlé Sap and Mekong rivers. Phnom Penh is the municipality and capital city—the largest, wealthiest, most modern and most populous city of Cambodia. It also functions as the commercial, political and cultural center of the country. It is the home of over 1.5 million among the total Cambodia’s population of over 13 millions.

Although smaller than other capital cities in Southeast Asia, Phnom Penh has its unique beauty with green scenery. Furthermore, numerous building constructions are ongoing everywhere in the city; and the size of city is currently spreaded bigger and bigger everyday. Nowadays, huge and tall buildings have been erected and under construction; and hundreds of dirt roads have been being paved throughout the capital.
